Children Across America was created to dramatically increase the academic achievements, self-esteem and health of every child in America by increasing their mastery of the basic skills of reading and literacy; raising children's academic expectations and self-esteem; empowering parents and teaching healthy lifestyle choices.
Our HistoryChildren Across America had its beginnings in 2007 in Milford, Massachusetts, with only 6 members. The organization was founded by Ray Fellows (Executive Director) whose grandmother inspired him and gave him the funds needed to develop the first literacy and math programs for underserved children. Children Across America started with basic reading groups and have grown by now to incorporate education, medical and health support.
