There is a lot of noise around Gen Z in the workplace. This session will provide insight, clarity, and research about Gen Z to help you better understand their unique generational behavior and values. Gen Z is different from previous generations, and leaders who understand how to work with and motivate Gen Zers will have a strategic advantage over those who do not. Investing in the development of Gen Z is a key component to successfully navigating the complexity of today's multigenerational workforce.

Who is leading the session:

Liz Robertson is the cofounder of TEN14 and is passionate about translating the experiences of different generations so they can maneuver effectively through challenging workplace dynamics. She has spent the last 20 years leading and developing emerging generations through her work in higher education. Liz’s interest in emerging generations inspired her to conduct in-depth doctoral research on Gen Z in the workplace to better understand how generations can work productively together. Liz holds a Ph.D. in Global Leadership & Change from Pepperdine University. She can often be found reading a book with a matcha latte in hand and traveling with her husband Brad to visit friends and family across the country.

Malika Begin has worked in the leadership development space partnering with startups and established companies in tech, marketing, and entertainment to create award-winning culture. Her company, Begin Development, works with companies to build strategic organization development and people focused cultures. Begin Development specializes in creating internal integrated leadership programs; including COLLAB (8 month leadership development program), manager development, monthly all company Learning & Development and coaching programs. She partners with executives to build in organization development capabilities, and works with teams to remove barriers to cross-departmental collaboration.
