A Free Volunteer Event!

Fleece & Thank You invites students to join them for Make a Blanket Day on Saturday, September 20th from 11 AM–3 PM at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac.

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages and is a perfect way for students to earn service hours while making a real difference. Together, we’ll make 1,000+ fleece blankets that will be delivered to kids in Michigan hospitals, bringing comfort and smiles during tough times.

In this volunteer opportunity, you’ll join hundreds of others for a fun, family-friendly day of service. Alongside making blankets, the event will feature music, bounce houses, giveaways, and more. It’s a hands-on way to make a direct impact while building community and joy.

Grand Prizes: $1,000 in Kroger Groceries and Free Jimmy John's for a Year - 1 blanket = 1 raffle ticket to enter!
