Seasonal explorations for preschoolers ages three to five and their grownups.
Come explore nature with your preschooler! Fledgling Naturalist programs encourage children's curiosity, engaging them hands-on in the natural world through seasonally-themed activities, stories, games, and crafts.
Please read all of the information below!
- For children ages 3 to 5 with an adult partner. Adult participation is strongly encouraged!
- Group size is limited. Registration via Eventbrite is required.
- Unless otherwise indicated, programs meet at the Interpretive Center.
- Heavy/steady rain or other inclement weather may cancel the program.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation or contact us so that others can join us.
- No food is permitted in the classroom. Please plan your snacks for before or after the program.
- You are welcome to bring infant or toddler siblings. Space in the classroom is limited to the “littles” and their adults. If you need to bring older children with you, an assortment of games, books, and STEM toys will be available for them nearby in the main display area.
