The Sigtuna Foundation is the start of another exciting chapter in kenyan football. The New charity will support the development of football facilities through investment, assistance and guidance.

The Sigtuna Foundation will deliver the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) commitment to develop inspirational Fit-For-Future football facilities that will improve and grow Kenyan football on and off the pitch.

The standard of football facilities across Kenya, particularly at grassroots levels, requires coordinated long-term investment to deliver the most accessible and appropriate environments for current and future members of the Kenyan football family.

The Sigtuna Foundation will play a leading role in addressing this challenge by delivering a series of facility development programmes that will develop outstanding football facilities, resulting in more players and better experience - helping improve the health and wellbeing of a nation.

The Sigtuna Foundation will deliver the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) commitment to develop inspirational Fit-for-Future football facilities that will improve and grow Kenyan football on and off the pitch and is preparing to undertake the largest programme of funding in the history of Kenyan football.

The standard of football facilities across Kenya, particularly at grassroots levels, requires coordinated long-term investment to deliver the most accessible and appropriate environment for current and future members of the Kenyan football family.

The priorities of the Sigtuna Foundation will be to develop inspirational Fit-for-Future inspirational football facilities:

Enable stronger and sustainable community focused clubs.

Grow opportunities and and improve experiences for boys and girls.

Support wider community needs and tickle inequalities.

The National Government of Kenya and County Governments of Kenya will committ multi-million Shillings worth of investment to improving facilities in Kenya through the Sigtuna Foundation. The Kenyan Government have also committed to the development of grassroots football facilities across Kenya by 2025.

"Access to appropriate and high-quality facilities are integral to theexperience of every player, coach, volunteer and referees in Kenya.
