About this event

Science & Tech • Science

Our workshop is designed for curious people who would like to know how telescopes work purely from a functional point of view. We'll look a little into the history of telescopes as well as answering questions like, "How far can it see?" or "What is magnification?" and "What kind of telescope is best?"

You will assemble a working telescope that will provide views of the major features of the moon, phases of Venus and Mercury, the bands & large moons of Jupiter, glimpse the rings of Saturn, even see double-stars, star clusters and bright interstellar clouds far outside our own solar system.
