First Friday Readathon - Kickoff Event!
Overview
Join History Through Fiction for the kickoff of our brand-new First Friday Readathon—a cozy, community-focused reading event designed to help you carve out time for your book while connecting with fellow readers.
During this two-hour virtual readathon, we’ll alternate between 20-minute reading sprints and 5–10 minute discussion breaks. It’s simple, low-pressure, and open to all types of readers. Bring any book you’re currently reading—there’s no assigned text, theme, or genre.
Whether you’re seeking a little reading accountability, hoping to discover new books, or just want a welcoming space to relax with your current read, you’re invited to join us for this special first session.
Important Note About Future Events:
This February 6 kickoff is free and open to everyone through Eventbrite.
Beginning in March, First Friday Readathon sessions will be exclusive to members of the Historical Readers Club. Zoom registration links for future months will be shared directly with club members.
If you enjoy this event and want to participate each month, we invite you to join the Historical Readers Club for continued access and a growing community of passionate readers.
How to Participate:
- Register here on Eventbrite.
- You’ll receive the Zoom link via email.
- Bring your book, a comfortable reading spot, and anything else you love for a relaxing night of reading.
