First Friday Art Walk presents the Sunset Songs Series featuring J & The Causeways.
The First Friday Art Walk takes place the first Friday of each month, October through May, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Ocala’s Historic Downtown. This free community event celebrates local artists, musicians, and businesses, offering over 30 artist displays, live entertainment, extended shopping hours, and free family art activities provided by local arts organizations.
On Friday, November 7, the First Friday Art Walk in partnership with Sunset Songs Series will feature a special performance by J & The Causeways at Citizen Circle at 7:30 p.m.
New Orleans soul/rock powerhouse J & The Causeways’ debut album “Motions” conjures themes of togetherness and compassion, with melodies and lyrics rooted in healing and transcendence. Led by singer and keyboardist Jordan Anderson, whose soaring range draws comparisons to St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Brittany Howard, the record was produced by Galactic’s Robert Mercurio and Ben Ellman, capturing the freewheelin’ spirit of New Orleans.

Guests are encouraged to pick up an event map at the Ocala Cultural Arts tent, located on the south side of the Downtown Square.
In the event of inclement weather, the First Friday Art Walk will be canceled.
