On the first Friday of each month, step into the vibrant world of The Arts of Great Falls Art School & Gallery, The Artists' Atelier and The Artists' Loft studios, where you'll have the chance to see the latest exhibit plus meet and explore the latest works by twelve talented resident artists.

Is there a fee to participate in First Friday Art Walk?

First Friday Art Walk is a free event open to the community. Stop by to meet the studio artists and see their, learn more about fine art classes for ages 8+ and see the latest exhibit in our gallery.

Do I need to RSVP?

To RSVP - please visit https://www.artsofgreatfalls.org/art-events; but drop-ins are always welcome!

What should I expect?

The Art School-Gallery will feature a special exhibit. Exhibits change monthly, so there is always something new to see. The Artist's Atelier features 7 studio artists and The Artists' Loft features 4 studio artists. Stop by to meet the artists and see their latest artwork.

The Arts of Great Falls

The Arts of Great Falls (AGF) is dedicated to fostering an artful community by promoting and supporting the fine arts in Great Falls and beyond. Located in the charming Village Centre, AGF is home to a vibrant art school that draws students from across the DC metro area, offering classes for adults of all skill levels—from beginners to experienced artists.

We provide gallery space for local artists to showcase their work and lease affordable studio space to 12 resident artists in our Atelier and Loft studios. AGF also hosts inspiring community events throughout the year, including 1st Friday Art Walks, the annual Paint Great Falls plein air competition, and weekly open studios.

Our mission is simple: to support the arts and create a thriving, creative community.
