Join us for a lively First Friday evening in March, with Christine Frances and John Greaves of local band, Celtic Flo! Christine plays piano as well as folk (lever) harp and John, besides the flute and tin whistle, plays an instrument known as a Roland E, which can produce variety of musical sounds, including, among many others, bagpipes and shakuhachi flute.
Doors open 5pm, family hour between 5-6pm, BYOB afterwards. Bring a small dish to share for the community potluck. Music will start at 6pm.
SASS First Fridays are a chance for folks to get together in a relaxed and welcoming space, learn about our upcoming classes and events, discover inspiring artwork in our gallery, and enjoy something different each month. From poetry open MICS to live painting to performances or presentations, we celebrate the uplifting power of expressive arts in community. Free to attend, but don't forget to tip your performers!
