A Journey Through Time Walk
This place, this land, is as old as time itself. The sticks, the stones, the lakes, the trees and their leaves all have their own story to tell, some of it is millions of years in the making. During this one-mile loop walk, a ranger will guide you along a journey through time on the Goodwin Lake Trail. Be sure to wear warm, comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring a water bottle if possible. While this trail is rated easy, it is not appropriate for strollers and those with severe mobility issues. To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need. Parks are for everyone; this is an inclusive program open to all people.
B.A.R.K. Rangers Guided Hike
Bring your canine companion and join the B.A.R.K. Ranger program at Twin Lakes State Park! This ranger-led program invites dogs and their owners to explore Goodwin Lake trail while learning about responsible pet practices. As a B.A.R.K. Ranger, you and your pup will help preserve the park’s natural beauty by following the B.A.R.K. principles: Bag your pet's waste, Always use a leash, Respect wildlife, and Know where you can go. After completing the hike, participants will earn a discount on all dog related merchandise and become a part of a community dedicated to protecting our park! Although rated easy, this trail may not be suitable for those with strollers or severe mobility issues. Parks are for everyone. To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need.
