First Day Hike at Capitol Park

Join us for an easy-paced “First Day Hike” through one of the most beautiful State Capitol grounds in the nation. Meet at 13th and Capitol Avenue where a guide will talk about the history of the 40-acre urban park and show you some amazing trees and shrubs from around the globe. Great for all ages.

First Day Hikes is a national-led effort that encourages individuals and families to experience the beautiful natural and cultural resources found in the outdoors.
