First Aid / CPR / AED - Emergency Level

Under Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Regulation 1101, all workplaces must have trained first aid providers on site at all times. Employers are responsible for ensuring that an adequate number of employees are certified in First Aid and CPR through a WSIB-recognized training provider.

This WSIB-compliant First Aid / CPR / AED – Emergency Level course meets those requirements while going beyond the minimum standards. Designed for security professionals, property staff, supervisors, and anyone working in higher-risk environments, the course emphasizes hands-on, scenario-based training to build confidence and readiness for real emergencies.

Participants will learn how to:

• Respond to life-threatening medical emergencies and injuries
• Perform high-quality CPR and use an AED safely and effectively
• Recognize and treat shock, bleeding, choking, and respiratory distress
• Follow emergency action steps that align with workplace safety policies
