Fireside Chat: A Conversation about Scaling w/ Sock Club and Hubspot
Event Information
About this event
Sock Club grew from a direct-to-consumer subscription service to the national brand for customized sock swag. Their journey has included scaling their team, techstack, and both the B2B and D2C sides of their business – all simultaneously.
Join us for this conversation with Chloe Ayres, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Abbey Grimes, Head of Product, and learn about how they helped lead Sock Club on that growth journey, focusing on scaling tools and strategy across both marketing and sales. Jack Eckblad, Head of Strategic Partnerships in the Midwest for the HubSpot for Startups Program, will be moderating the discussion.
This fireside chat will be a candid exploration of their growth journey, hurdles encountered, successes realized, and shared experiences they have for founders just starting to scale.
See below for more information about the speakers. We're looking forward to seeing you at this event!
About Jack Eckblad - Head of Partnerships in the Midwest, Hubspot for Startups Program

About Chloe Ayres - Director of Sales & Marketing, Sock Club
Chloe Ayres is a Sales and Marketing leader who delivers engaging presentations that offer audiences practical solutions and honest advice regarding how to sell and market their distinct value propositions. A bonus for attendees is take-away knowledge of how and when to automate their current manual processes that are taking time away from creative work.
Chloe earned her degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. As the Director of Marketing for Sock Club, she and her team have earned consistent accolades for their dedication to excellence in marketing and sales activities from trade shows to email marketing. Her background in a high-growth startup environment has provided her with a unique perspective on agile low-cost and high-impact solutions.
Chloe believes strongly that it is important to take your work very seriously, but not take yourself too seriously. She also believes that cats are essential to a successful at-home Zoom meeting, a good playlist can solve most problems, and nothing good happens without passion.
