Firefighter I Fundamentals - WFA

T his course is open to firefighters affiliated with a Wyoming Fire Department or Agency

Course Description: This is an opportunity for students who are working towards completing Firefighter One courses to participate in live fire Job Performance Requirements (JPRs) on the Wyoming State Fire Marshal's Office (WSFMO) training record. During this hands-on training, participants will apply the skills they have learned by transitioning these skills into an IDLH environment, allowing them to demonstrate their skill and readiness for real-world scenarios.

Minimum of 10 students needed to hold this course.

Full Structural PPE and SCBA are required to attend practical weekends.

Dates: April 10-12, 2026

April 10th - 6 PM - 9 PM

April 11th - 8 AM - 5 PM

April 12th - 8 AM - 12 PM

P re-course work: FF1course work

Pre-requisites: All students must have a FEMA SID number and will be required to fill out a Live Fire Verification Form before participating.

NOTES:

Written testing will be available at 1PM Sunday, April 12th for students who need any certification written testing.
