This is the second part of the fire safety and building class, where we will be practicing building different fire structures and learning how to build a proper fire pit in the woods. The first class is required to take the second and third classes.
The class will begin with a brief recap of what was taught in the previous class. Afterwards, we will go into the woods to a location already set up, where we will work on constructing each of the different structures we had learned about, and attempt to create a fire using one of them. You will be tasked with going off the path and acquiring the necessary materials needed to build each structure.
This will be a 3-part class taking place in November and December, with each class being a continuation of the previous one.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to safely build a fire from the ground up using minimal tools, with each session taking knowledge from the previous and ramping it up until the final session. During which we will trudge out into the woods, find ourselves a great, safe spot, and use knowledge from the previous sessions to collectively make a fire
