Celebrate the end of the marathon at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk’s 4th annual Finish Line Fest, taking place on October 12 starting at 1:30 p.m. In partnership with Gideon Akande, this lively post-race celebration welcomes all runners, friends, and family members to enjoy an afternoon of recovery and fun. Attendees can take advantage of post-race massages and assisted stretching stations, complimentary snacks and hydrating beverages, and a special medal engraving station where finishers can personalize their achievement. The event also features DJ entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a raffle with exciting prizes including a complimentary hotel stay, tickets to local attractions, a gift certificate to Shula’s Steak House, and more.
Finish Line Fest is free to attend and open to all, but space is limited—runners are encouraged to RSVP now to secure their spot!

Ease into marathon weekend with our Sheraton Shakeout Run! Join fellow runners and travelers for a light, energizing fun run designed to shake out your legs after your journey and get race-ready. Led by Gideon Akande, runners will meet in the hotel lobby at 8:45 AM before heading out for a scenic jog along the Riverwalk. All paces welcome—let’s get moving together!
