Event description
Finding Targets for Drug Discovery - a joint symposium with speakers from Open Targets and NIH sponsored Illuminating the Druggable Genome.

About this Event

An open, all-day symposium on the Wellcome Genome Campus Hinxton campus with speakers from Illuminating the Druggable Genome (IDG) and Open Targets sharing perspectives on “Finding Targets for Drug Discovery”. This event will be held in Kendrew Lecture Theatre on Friday Nov. 15th, 2019, 9 am to 4:15 pm.

FAQs

What is the IDG consortium?

The NIH sponsored IDG consortium aims to illuminated understudied targets in three protein families; GPCR, kinase, and ion channels, by producing data and resources via the DRGC, collating and managing whole human proteome knowledge via the KMC, expand outreach of IDG outcomes via RDOC, and developing tools for facilitating data representation by CEITs . Please visit DruggableGenome.net for further information.

What can I bring into the event?

Participants are encouraged to bring a scientific poster to showcase their drug discovery work for display during the symposium. The poster must be no larger than A0 (841mm x 1189mm) with a portrait orientation. Please include poster information during meeting registration.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

For directions to the Wellcome Genome Conference Centre, please see https://conferencecentre.wellcomegenomecampus.org/contact/getting-here/

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
