Join us for a two-hour interactive workshop introducing Internal Family Systems (IFS) - a compassionate approach to self-discovery and inner balance - with Tom Truss.

In IFS, we understand ourselves as made up of many “parts” - different voices, feelings and aspects, that guide us. Some parts bring creativity, joy, and strength, while others carry worry, protection, or pain. Together, these parts form a constellation, our inner system, that can move us into harmony, or take over and knock us out of balance.

Through simple, guided meditations, and experiential exercises, participants will learn more about their parts and how to notice and listen to them with curiosity rather than judgment. Participants will leave with a basic understanding of IFS, a deeper sense of what “parts work” means, and insight into the various aspects that make up who they are. This first glimpse into their inner constellation can open the door to more balance, gracious reflection, self-compassion, and freedom in daily life. As Dick Schwartz, the Founder of IFS says, all parts are welcome.

Tom Truss is a seasoned facilitator with over 30 years of experience. Having worked with all kinds of people, from firefighters and CEO’s to the medical community, people living with AIDS and inner-city kids, Tom draws on his background in movement, teaching, and community arts, to guide individuals and groups through transformative and creative processes. A Level 2 certified Internal Family Systems practitioner, Tom creates supportive, interactive spaces where curiosity and acceptance open the door to change. He brings warmth, humor and insight to all his work, to foster growth, connection and authenticity.
