The world feels heavy. Our bodies carry the tension — tight jaws, shallow breaths, shoulders always braced. For Black women navigating toxic jobs or job loss, racialized trauma, and daily stress, this state of “always on edge” is survival.
But survival is not the whole story. Our bodies also carry the possibility of calm.
Join Marissa Price, MSW — International Trauma Educator & Somatic Healing Practitioner for a gentle, 90-minute healing circle. Together, we’ll explore how trauma lives in the nervous system and practice simple somatic tools to release tension, ground ourselves, and create moments of refuge, even in chaos.
