From Executive Producer Macklemore, The Encampments offers an urgent, intimate portrait of America’s student movement, ignited at Columbia University as students protested their universities’ ties to the war on Palestine. Their actions sparked a nationwide uprising, with encampments spreading across hundreds of campuses, in the United States and beyond. Featuring detained activist Mahmoud Khalil, alongside professors, whistleblowers, and organizers, the film captures the deeper stakes of a historic moment that continues to reverberate across the globe.

Stay after the film for a Q&A with local Palestinians and students who will share their perspectives on the student movement and lessons from history.

Please RSVP to attend. A donation of $10-20 per person is suggested at the door to support a mutual aid initiative for Palestinian families and students in Gaza. No one turned away due to lack of funds.
