Bay Area Human Resources Connections (baHRC) is pleased to collaborate with Jeff Jacobs, Executive Teams Coach, Facilitator, Trainer, & Speaker, to present this hybrid event to the HR Community.

We are all facing a world of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. These are the words that make up the acronym VUCA. In this session, we explore the transformative role of compassion in leadership and its direct impact on organizational effectiveness and in combating VUCA. Far from a “touchy-feely” session as some may think based on the word “compassion,” our time together will focus on how to operationalize compassion in service to enhanced engagement, productivity, leadership, and ultimately, success.

Presenter: Jeff Jacobs, Executive Teams Coach, Facilitator, Trainer, & Speaker, to present this hybrid event to the HR Community, Executive Teams Coach, Facilitator, Trainer, & Speaker (20 years Adobe, Intuit; 30+ year HR Practitioner & Leader).

Jeff is a recognized leader in leadership development and organizational effectiveness, having facilitated and consulted on over 500 engagements during the past decade as an employee of top-tier companies, including Adobe and Intuit. His diverse experience extends beyond the corporate world, encompassing chairing three non-profit boards, serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and acquiring three certifications in compassionate leadership and mindfulness practices, including one from Stanford Medical School. Additionally, he has years of experience working with maximum-security inmates in California prisons. He is a contributing author to the Amazon bestseller, “Leading with Self-Awareness, Starting from the Inside Out,” and is working on his own first book, “Still Coming of Age, Living & Leading with Compassion.”

Jeff has a unique ability to create safety at scale and to serve as a compassionate agitator, helping individuals and teams come together to identify and address the elephants that hinder their productivity, engagement, and success.
