About this event

Take your photography skills to new heights with Photo 101. In this active class, you'll unlock the creative power of your camera, gaining full control over your images. From aperture and shutter control to basic composition theory, you'll develop a solid foundation in technical and artistic strategies.

*Field-trip style: Instead of talking about it, we will actually use our cameras, all while having a professional there (Jim Landers) to help as you learn and practice.

Multi-day: (4, two-hour sessions) Four consecutive Wednesdays (June 17, 19, 24, 26, 1:30-3:30pm) 1:30pm-3:30pm. (students get the locations after purchase)

The price includes all four days.

Where are the classes held?

This is the "Field-Trip" version of the class, so in locations that are best suited for the lesson. Locations are only given to students after payment.

Who is the instructor?

Jim Landers is a classically-trained, degreed photographer with 30 years experience. He has helped over 4000 students and has authored over 250 different photography class titles.

Are there age limits?

Yes: 12 and up. Under 16, must be accompanied by an adult.

Is this a certificate class?

Yes. By request only, upon completion of the class. Emailed as a PDF or jpg.
