Join the good folks from Scott’s Cycle and Sports for a group ride and mountain bike demo among the shrub steppe and expansive prairie riding of the Sno Road Winery MTB Trail System. These lowland trails offer a nice balance to their mountain counterparts. Likely accessible all year, even when winter has its grip on the mountains, this trail system is ideal for beginners and experts alike. With so many different trails to explore, prepare for miles of smiles on this group ride.

The group will meet up at Echo West Vineyard Trailhead to check in and learn a bit more about the trail system before heading out on a 6-15 mile ride, depending on participant preference. There will be a limited number of Orbea electric mountain bikes available for demo from Scott’s Cycle and Sport. The trail system features rolling single track with no sustained climbs or descents. Participants will need to bring their own helmets and anything they may need to make minor trail-side adjustments to their own bike. We recommend bringing plenty of water, sunscreen, snacks and layers for fall weather.

Scott's Cycle and Sports established in 1993 in Hermiston Oregon as a specialty bicycle retailer by long time Eastern Oregon resident Scott Cimmiyotti. Scott's first shop location was on main street Hermiston until he took over the Hermiston Schwinn Shop building in 1998. The shops current location has a long history in Hermiston as a bicycle shop and has been selling bicycles on the same floors since the late fifties. In 2001 Scott's Cycle and Sports expanded to Kennewick, Washington and retrofitted an old 7-11 building into a bicycle shop. Scott's sons Steve and Brian came on board to help grow the business and now supports 15 full and part-time cycling enthusiasts. Learn more at www.scottscycleandsports.com.

Estate Echo West Ranch & Vineyard sits in Oregon’s Columbia Valley AVA (American Viticulture Area), Echo, Oregon. Its wind swept and sunny Southeast slopes perch on the bluff overlooking the Umatilla River. The steep terrain at 850-foot elevation with deep volcanic ash make a unique terroir for growing hardy, full-flavored grapes. Lloyd and Lois Piercy are the second owners of this 3,600 acre, 1865 Cunha Ranch, Echo, Oregon. Purchased in 2002, they knew immediately the bluffs were a perfect terrain for wine grapes. The 39-acre vineyard was established in 2004 with these varieties: Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2005, blocks of Muscat Canelli and Orange Muscat - Zinfandel in 2006 - and in 2009, Pinot Noir and Carmènére were planted.
