About this Event

Field Experience #9 & #10: Fermentation Collaboration will be led by Berlin-based artist Anaïs Hazo and Minneapolis-based artist Miriam Karraker. It will take place on the weekend of Oct 12 and 13 in the beautiful space at Maison Bodega.

The first event on Saturday, Oct 12 from 2:00-4:00 will be a fermentation workshop led by Anaïs Hazo. We will learn how to transform the fall harvest into lacto-fermented vegetables and she will share philosophies around fermentation that are relevant to art practice. Limited to 10 people.

As part of the collaboration, Anaïs Hazo and Miriam have been working on a written correspondence about fermentation and collaboration language. A first edition of the zine will be shared with participants, and then a second edition will be completed based on learnings from the workshops.
