Join artist Miriam Karraker for a tasting and writing workshop where we'll explore the complex flavors of fermented foods.

About this Event

Field Experience #9 & #10: Fermentation Collaboration will be led by Berlin-based artist Anaïs Hazo and Minneapolis-based artist Miriam Karraker. It will take place on the weekend of Oct 12 and 13 in the beautiful space at Maison Bodega.

The second event on Sunday, Oct 13 from 2:00-4:00 will be an experimental fermentation tasting and writing workshop led by Miriam Karraker. We will taste fermented foods made by Anaïs and Miriam, and work through a series of writing exercises to explore taste through language. Limited to 20 people.

As part of the collaboration, Anaïs Hazo and Miriam have been working on a written correspondence about fermentation and collaboration language. A first edition of the zine will be shared with participants, and then a second edition will be completed based on learnings from the workshops.
