FIASCO PLAY|GROUND MONOLOGUE WORKSHOP

Have you found yourself getting frustrated or stuck with the monologues in your rotation? Join Fiasco Company Member Paul L. Coffey and longtime Fiasco collaborator Liz Hayes for a monologue workshop to enliven your practice and offer new tools for unpacking the text from a deeper, more detailed and more personal point-of-view! In this workshop, participants will each get individual work on their piece, will observe and support the work of others, and have time to connect through conversation and community building. Participants should bring a monologue (all styles, genres & playwrights welcome) that you are excited to play with and plug into in new ways. Choose a piece that lights you up!

Space is limited to 12 participants. Participants will be asked to email a PDF of their monologue to ashley@fiascotheater.com by Wednesday, June 11th at 5:00pm EST (so that teachers can prepare!) and to bring a printed copy of the monologue with them to the workshop.

ABOUT PLAY|GROUND

Adults deserve the opportunity to play, and play is integral to our growth and sustenance as humans and as artists! We know how difficult it can be, to find the time and resources to prioritize play. Enter Play|Ground! Taught by members of Fiasco’s Faculty, Play|Ground workshops will be rooted in play, embodied practice, and community. Each workshop and gathering will include refreshments.

MONOLOGUE WORKSHOP ACCESS FUND

If you incur access-related costs to participate in this workshop, Fiasco has an Access Fund for this program to reimburse you for expenses like transportation, dependent care, and printing. At sign up, let us know if you anticipate needing resources from the Access Fund, and a Fiasco Staff member will be in touch to coordinate reimbursements.
