Join Medical Herstory for our sixth annual Feminist Health Conference!
For too long, women, queer, trans, non-binary, disabled, fat, and otherwise marginalized bodies have been treated by medicine as problems to be solved—diagnosed, corrected, and controlled. Gender has often been the silent axis of pathologization, shaping whose pain is believed, whose bodies are regulated, and whose autonomy is denied.
This year’s conference calls us to move beyond the clinic’s narrow gaze and into the expansive care of community. We’ll explore how gendered and intersectional forms of medical control have defined health across history, and how resistance—feminist, queer, trans, and collective—has always been a source of survival, healing, and transformation.
Together, we’ll reclaim health rooted in lived experience, bodily autonomy, interdependence, and justice.
SPEAKERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON!
Medical Herstory's Feminist Health Conference is our largest event of the year, and to ensure it is accessible to all it is free to attend. If you wish to make a donation to support our mission in eliminating sexism, shame, and stigma from health experiences, all proceeds will go towards running Medical Herstory and our projects.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, expand your knowledge, and contribute to the ongoing conversation surrounding feminist health. Join us for a transformative experience that will leave you inspired and ready to make a difference.
