Festive Printmaking at Storybox!

Join us at Storybox for a festive evening of creativity and printmaking! In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art of linocut printing and create your own set of handprinted cards - Christmas-themed or otherwise, entirely up to you!

Linocut is a process where an image is carved into a linoleum block using a v-shaped cutting tool or gouge. The surface is then covered with ink using a roller and a print is taken from the surface.

No previous printmaking experience is needed for this workshop - participants will be guided through the process step by step and whether you are a beginner or improver you will be able to relax into the creative process and leave with a set of one-colour handprinted cards in your own unique design!

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided, plus BYO if you’d like to enjoy a festive drink while you carve and print!

Suitable for all levels of experience!
