Be part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of the URI Guitar and Mandolin Festival—a week-long immersion in concerts, masterclasses, workshops, lectures, and community. Whether you’re an emerging artist, conservatory student, lifelong player, or passionate listener, the guitar track offers transformative experiences with world-renowned faculty and guest artists.
🎶 Your festival pass includes:
- Access to all concerts, including Tommy Emmanuel, Meng Su, Yamandu Costa, and more
- Two private lessons with festival faculty
- Admission to masterclasses, technique workshops, composer seminars, and the Luthier Expo
- Open ensemble participation, feedback sessions, and daily community events (pending confirmed interest)
- Opportunities to perform in student showcases and observe elite rehearsals
For competitors, we offer a dedicated tier that includes competition entry and automatic consideration for participation in the Meng Su masterclass.

- Festival check-in begins Sunday, October 19 at General Stanton Inn.
- Events run daily across URI’s campus and regional venues
- Full schedule, artist roster, and lesson times will be confirmed by October 1
- Concerts are included in the pass—only an RSVP is required
- Participants must arrange their own lodging, meals, and transportation

Q: Is this festival just for advanced players?
A: Not at all! The guitar track is open to students, teachers, amateurs, and professionals. We group participants by experience and goals.
Q: Can I take more than two lessons?
A: Additional lessons may be available on-site for a fee, based on faculty availability.
🎟️ GUITAR FESTIVAL PASS OPTIONS
- Full Guitar Festival Pass – $400
Includes access to all concerts, two private lessons, masterclasses, workshops, and lectures throughout the week.
Participation in a festival guitar ensemble may be offered based on enrollment interest.
(Note: Competition entry is not included in this pass and must be purchased separately.)
- Auditor Pass: Full Week – $300
Includes access to all concerts, lectures, and masterclasses.
Private lessons and ensemble participation are not included.
- THREE DAY PASS- Auditor Pass: Weekend Only (Fri–Sun) – $250
Ideal for guests attending the festival’s final concerts and events.
Includes Tommy Emmanuel, the Ensembles Showcase, and the Gala Final Concert. Private lessons and ensemble participation are not included.
- Auditor Day Pass – $75
Access to all concerts, public lectures, and events scheduled for one selected day.
