About this event
Learning the art of fermentation is both great for your health and your food budget. If you have ever wanted to ferment your own veggies or learn how to make kombucha, here is your chance. Together we will unpack 2 approachable fermenting methods that can easily be replicated at home:
- Cultured Vegetables
- Kombucha (fermented tea drink)
You will taste homemade samples and learn the history, nutritive value and process for each traditionally fermented foods. Exploring kombucha, cultured vegetables and other wild & live creations will be shared.
Because we are hiring the instructor, this class is not free. Cost is $30 per person.
Class is taught by Kari Witthun from the Seed Guild.
