The theme for this meeting is “HOW TO BUILD FOR GOD”.
God is an ARCHITECT and we are BUILDERS employed as labourers together with Him. He always specifies what and how to build for Him. He has a blueprint (BUILDING PLAN/PATTERN) for whatsoever He has called us to build for Him. He strongly warned Moses to make a sanctuary “according to all that I shew thee, after the PATTERN of the tabernacle, and the PATTERN of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it” (Ex. 25:8-9).
Just as God gave Moses precise instructions for constructing the Tabernacle—covering every detail from the dimensions and materials to the tiniest components like the pins—the BUILDING PLAN/PATTERN lays out every aspect of the building in similar meticulous fashion. Therefore, building for God requires the GRACE OF THE WISE MASTER BUILDER (1 Cor. 3:10). This grace gives wisdom to the builder to be able to interpret the plan and build according to specification. No wonder God told Ezekiel to “Show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof” (Ezekiel 43:10-11).
