About this event

Music • Spiritual & Religious

On September 20, join us for Feel the Spirit Moving, a joyful and powerful concert experience with the phenomenal Charles Lane Ensemble. Through music and story, we’ll honor the legacy of the Spirituals—songs rooted in pain, powered by faith, and rich with history. These songs weren’t just music; they were lifelines, roadmaps to freedom, and bold acts of resistance.

You’ll hear the familiar call: “Wade in the water…”—and feel it stir your soul.

And for the first time, this spiritual journey will come alive through dance. Expect at least one stunning dance piece—perhaps more—as part of this immersive experience.

This isn’t just a concert. It’s a call to solidarity—a time to gather strength, resist the wave of cruelty sweeping the country, and stand firm in love and support for one another. It’s a space to reflect, rejoice, breathe deeply, and rise together.

This isn’t just a concert. It’s a celebration. A remembrance. A revival
