The "Feedback is Your Friend" workshop Is designed to teach employees how to seek, accept, and utilize feedback for personal and professional growth. For far too long we have focused our efforts on managers and their leadership competencies and have even taught how to give and provide feedback; nevertheless, it is imperative that we also nurture the people who are going to receive it: The Employees!

During this workshop attendees will be asked to identify opportunities specific to their career and jobs as it relates to the value of feedback. Attendees will also be taught the value of seeking feedback. The challenge with the concept of feedback is most people immediately associate feedback with constructive feedback when in fact it is imperative that we teach employees how to change the relationship with feedback so it's a positive one. Feedback can be a very strategic tool for employees to use to build their income and careers! Specific strategies and techniques will be taught as to how to do this which will allow managers to have employees who not only seek feedback but accepted openly and professionally!


We will teach the following during this workshop to attendees:

1. The value of feedback

2. How to seek feedback verbally and nonverbally

3. How to seek feedback from people you don't even report to

4. Why accessing and acquiring a mentor is critical

5. Why employees are in charge of their career and not the company

6. The number one thing that motivates employees today and how to use it to grow their career

7. Why feedback even when it's delivered poorly is extremely valuable

8. One specific strategy that makes it easy for both the manager to give feedback for the employee to receive it that few do if at all


Here's how the program works:

1. Attendees will attend a live webcast that is one hour in length {there are no infomercials or sales pitches during this training!}

2. After the training 7 days of reinforcement lessons will be sent to each employee via their email inbox further promoting the value of feedback and making it easy for managers to provide it and coach!

 

Note: The value of this program is to teach employees how to receive and appreciate feedback when it's given. This will prepare employees mindsets when a manager has to provide feedback!
