About this event

Why do fairy tales need to be scary? What are the fairy tales we need to survive? What’s in those woods?

Join us at Hive Mind Books in Bushwick for an evening of fairy tales, mutations, horror, and delight. We'll be celebrating the launch of Syr Hayati Beker’s What A Fish Looks Like (Stelliform), and the terrifying brilliance of Saskia Nislow’s Root Rot (Creature Press).

The evening will begin with a chilling reading and end with a collaborative F*cked up Fairy Tale to warm our twisted hearts. We will be raffling a Fairy Tale preparedness kit to benefit Watermelon Connections.

FREE - come buy books and be un-settled!!

Fairy Tale X Apocalyptic attire encouraged.
