Come celebrate our baby's second birthday with us! SisterSong's first ever podcast F*ck, Marry, Kill is officially launching into Season 2. Join us at Love's Club in Brooklyn for a LIVE TAPING of the show, featuring Solonje Burnett and Maura Chanz. After the taping, we'll have a dance party with DJ CRY$CROSS until 8:00 pm, and then the party will open up to the public. So don't worry, you can stay and dance all night!
Doors open at 5:00 pm, taping starts at 5:30 pm, DJ set starts at 7:00 pm.
What does FMK want for its birthday? I'm so glad you asked! We are asking that everyone brings a product in to support a new mom. This can be diapers, wipes, formula, clothes and toys, anything! All donations will go directly to Mil Mundos in Bushwick, who works with Ayuda Mutua to provide support for Spanish speaking communities in the city. Can't bring an item? No worries! There will be QR codes throughout the event where you can donate directly to SisterSong's Birth Justice Care Fund.
For each item you bring in you will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win your very own HOE BAG! A hoe bag is an invention from the brilliant mind of Maura Chanz, and includes everything you may need to live it up in your hoe era, so keep it in your car just in case opportunity strikes ;)
