See you there!

SUMMARY

Join us in support of seniors and vulnerable communities in an effort to provide legal representation through our Legal Services Programs at the FundaveNYC Cocktail Fundraiser (FCF) 2025 titled: Building The Right Bridges For Our Community! Enjoy an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and surprises while making a lasting impact on one of the greatest challenges our city faces today.

Your contributions allow us to continue providing critical support and legal services. Fifty percent of the funds raised will go towards our Legal Services Programs, focusing on serving seniors like Ramón (Watch his story). If you cannot attend, you can also make a tax-deductible donation.

For a sneak peek, check out our inaugural cocktail fundraiser in 2023, where we received special recognition from the City of New York.

We will have a fascinating night in the great salon Green Fig located on the 4th Floor, where our 3rd Cocktail at Green Fig will collaborate in hosting a full evening of artists, singers, and plenty of entertainment for the entire family and friends. You have to be there to witness how a team of Fundavenyc's volunteers and talents come together to create an unforgettable experience.

We have the pleasure of introducing Mafer Bandola, a founding member of the Latin alternative band LADAMA. Mafer has released two acclaimed albums and co-produces Latínica, a digital conference exploring Latinx identity in the music industry. She also played a lead role in Papá Cuatro, a musical chronicling Venezuelan migration, which received a Carbonell Award in 2023.

Her signature project, Pipiris Nights, is a monthly celebration of Venezuelan music and dance at Barbès in NYC. She also curates Pipiris Nights Fest, a four-day festival featuring performances, panels, screenings, and workshops dedicated to preserving and reimagining Venezuelan cultural identity in times of mass migration.

Mafer is part of Bloodlines Interwoven, a multi-year performance project led by Kaoru Watanabe, debuting at Joe’s Pub on October 1, 2025

We have the pleasure of introducing a Grammy-winning pianist and composer, Kristhyan Benitez, who captivates audiences worldwide with his dynamic and versatile performances, seamlessly blending classical and Latin American repertoire with depth, passion, and charisma.

I'm a classical music pianist. – I won the Latin Grammy 2021 for "Best Classical Music" album. While I worship the classical music of the past, I am also devoted to playing music from my own country (Venezuela), including the classical music that no one knows about in Latin America, and its rich, vast and diverse tradition of folk and popular music, as a result of “MESTIZAJE” (mixed race: Spaniard, Indigenous and African).

There's a lot to discover and enjoy in a Latin American music playlist, so how fortunate am I to sail between the classical music world and the great musical traditions of Venezuela and Latin America

We have the pleasure of introducing Majo Negrete, a talented singer based in New York, with Ecuadorian roots and a versatile voice that covers genres from romantic ballads to cumbia, pasillos, and popular Latin music

Fundavenyc, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting diverse international communities in New York City, proudly presents Co-Founder Daniel Chacon and his inspiring initiative, the “55,000 Steps of Hope” challenge. This year, Daniel will take on the incredible journey of running the full NYC Marathon distance—with only one leg—matching every step of the official race and proving that no obstacle is insurmountable when hope leads the way.

Daniel’s mission is more than a test of endurance—it’s a rallying call to empower and uplift. His run aims to raise critical donations for Fundavenyc’s legal services programs, which provide essential legal representation and assistance for urgent immigration and community legal needs. Every contribution helps open doors for individuals and families seeking safety, justice, and new beginnings in New York City.

Join the “55,000 Steps of Hope” movement, a symbol of solidarity and opportunity alongside Daniel. Be part of a powerful story—and make a difference with every step. Donate today to support this extraordinary journey and help transform lives through the gift of legal empowerment.
