About FarmFest: FarmFest25 is the 4th annual music festival by Sinooka Productions. FarmFest was started as a grassroots, DIY production in 2022. It takes place at Highland Homestead, the Main family farm in Pawcatuck, CT. The stage is crafted out of two hay wagons overlooking a small pond. We have a network of loyal volunteers that handle parking, food service, and other duties to facilitate the guests’ experience. As we have continued to get positive feedback, we have decided to continue expanding it. This year we are planning on having music all day, with food, vendors, a raffle, and family friendly events.
FarmFest is a venture based on community engagement. We enjoy having a space to be able to host some of the talent from the local CT alternative/indie/rock scene, and connect a network of musicians. Additionally, we enjoy using FarmFest as a fundraising opportunity. The first two years we raised money for the farm itself for being the gracious hosts that they are. Last year, we raised over $8,000 for the PACS2 Research Foundation. This year, FF25 is fundraising for Amyloidosis research, a rare disease that can affect multiple organ groups. All proceeds from FarmFest 2025 will be going to the BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Amyloidosis Center, a leader in clinical research on amyloidosis. We are working with sponsors, donors, and vendors to make FarmFest a big success and a fun time for the whole family.
