About this event

Join us for a delightful evening of garden stories and tasty bites, featuring the bounty of LGL, thoughtfully curated by Chef Joel Stocks and the L’Orange crew. Plus wine from Golden Cluster Winery, beer from Ruse Brewing, and coffee from Muddworks Roastery.

We will begin the evening with a cocktail hour with snacks and stories at 4 pm, followed by dinner & dessert in the meadow at 5:30 pm.

    * All proceeds directly support LGL's educational programming.

Joel Stocks (@joelstcks) is a Portland local and owner/chef of @lorangepdx (prev. Holdfast and Gem supper club). L'Orange has accumulated significant notoriety in the two years it has been open, including the NYT 50 list 2024 and Portland Monthly's best restaurants list. As the restaurant grows, Joel is using his platform and notoriety to give back to the community, hosting events with non-profits. Joel has partnered up with cook, Leadership for Sustainability Education Master's student, and LGL intern and friend, Annabelle Winking, to raise funds for the Learning Gardens Lab, featuring the bounty of the gardens themselves and beverages from various Portland businesses. A few Portland businesses have really stepped up for the community and offered to donate their products for the event, which we are eternally grateful for. Wine from @goldencluster. Beer from @rusebrewing. Coffee from @muddworksroastery.
