We love the Birds and want to understand the game better. Our friends do too. That’s why we asked two NFL insiders to help us create something new: a day where Eagles fans can learn to watch football at the next level — like scouts, coaches, and analysts. With beer and pizza and friends. That’s how Fan U: Philly was born. This is the very first Fan U. If it goes well, we’ll do it again in Philly — and maybe in other NFL cities.
Meet Your Instructors:
**Karim Kassam** — Former Director of Football Analytics for the Steelers and Jaguars, and analytics leader for the Minnesota Twins. A pioneer in bringing advanced analytics into NFL front offices. Todd has heard that he has been referred to as the "Godfather of Football Analytics." Karim will hate that we included this in his bio though.
**Dave Petett** — Veteran NFL scout with 20+ years in the league, trusted by multiple teams for evaluating players and film. Brings an experienced front-office perspective directly to fans.
