Adults and their children (ages 4 - 12) can attend class together in this playful yoga and mindfulness session. Together, you'll learn traditional poses, find ways to stretch, explore breathing techniques, practice using your balance, and learn tools to encourage relaxation and stillness, but, there will be stories, games, and activities to help the younger students stay involved and engaged!
Each participant should have a mat and children will be asked to stay on their mat during the class. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water for hydration!
Each ticket covers one parent-child pair, and any additional participants can join for just $10 additionally on top of the original ticket purchased.
No prior experience is required, just bring your smiles and prepare for laughter-filled yoga fun!
About Bonnie
Bonnie teaches classes for both adults and children at Jiaren, and she especially enjoys teaching families together. Bonnie incorporates mindfulness, breathwork and somatic experiences into all of her classes and enjoys designing hatha flows that connect yoga asanas in creative and unusual ways. When working with children she uses stories, games, songs and activities to help make the yoga poses fun, playful and age appropriate for her young students. Bonnie has completed her 200 hour adult yoga training with Breathe for Change and her 110 hour children’s yoga and mindfulness training with Little Flower Yoga. She has also completed her 90 hour aerial yoga certification.
