Yes! Absolutely. For the morning workshops, breakfast will be provided. For the evening workshops, dinner will be provided.

Can I bring my student?

Childcare is available upon registration for children 4 years old and above. Your children are also welcome to join us for the workshop if that is better for you.

Do I have to attend workshops at the same location?

No! Attend whichever workshops are most convenient for you.

What will happen if I graduate from Family University?

If you attend 4 out of 5 of the workshop topics, you and your family will be invited to a graduation celebration in May and you will have the option to become a future Family University facilitator!

During this family-led workshop, you will:

Learn and practice different ways to communicate effectively with teachers, principals, and other school staff

Family University workshops take place at 5 hubs across Baltimore City. Each hub offers the same 5 important topics. Join our family facilitators for 4 out of 5 of the workshop topics, and you will graduate from Family University!
