Whether you want to help your children practice their swimming skills or your family needs some bonding time, a Family Swim is a great way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy your day or evening in our shiver-free pool that’s heated to a pleasant 90°.

Cost: $10/swimmer (paid at the door). Please note that currently enrolled families can swim for FREE Monday - Wednesday! Families with a current 6 or 12 Month Membership, 2024 Back to School Package or 2024 Holiday Package grant you FREE entry to all Family Swims!

A Fun & Beneficial Experience for Any Family

As a parent, you’re probably well aware that kids don’t truly know if they’ll enjoy something until they dive in and do it. Fortunately, most kids love the water.

This open swim time can benefit your whole family because:

-You can teach your child about water safety & introduce him or her to the water

-You can relax in our warm pool while your swimmer shows you his or her skills

-You can determine if your child would benefit from swim lessons

-Spending time in the pool together is a great way to get energy out

-Your child will feel more comfortable with you in the water

Please Note: For safety purposes, swim tests are required for children who wish to swim independently. We require at least one adult to be in the water with each child who cannot swim independently during the open swim.

SWIM TEST REQUIRED:

• Our pool is 4'2'' deep. All children that cannot touch with their head above water will be required to pass a swim test at the start of open swim or a birthday party.
• In order to pass a swim test, the child must swim 25 feet across the width of the pool head above water without struggle; Ellis Certified Lifeguard will make final determination.
• Lifejackets or puddle jumpers that fasten around the center are required for all children that do not pass. Coast guard approved life jackets are available at the facility.
• We do not allow single arm floaties that do not buckle around the chest for additional support.
• If a guardian chooses to accompany the child in the pool 100% of the time, they may remove floatation and practice swim skills with a guardian.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Only proper swim attire is permitted in the pool; no street clothes are permitted.
• Parent or guardian is required to stay on site while children are swimming
• a signed waiver must be completed for all swimmers prior to swimming
