This is a class where kids and their grownups can all learn to play and improvise!
Have you ever watched Bluey and wondered how the Heeler family is SO GOOD at making up games? How do the Heeler parents keep up with those kids?? The answer is... they're doing a lot of improv!
As we grow up, sometimes we forget about the power of imagination, make-believe, and silliness. Then when our kids want to play, we get... stuck. But don't worry - we're here to help! Our amazing instructor, Sam Hoar, can help you to put your adulting worries aside so that you can practice being 100% in-the-moment with your kid.
In this fun-filled 2-hour class, kids and their caregivers will play together, laugh together, and go home with a boatload of games and inside jokes. You don't have to be creative or artistic or funny to come learn - the instructor is there to help guide you through everything. We know it can be stressful to try something new like this - so the instructor focuses on helping everyone feel comfortable, safe, and having fun!
Sam has over a decade of experience teaching kids and adults how to play. They care deeply about creating an accessible space where everyone can have fun, and love working together with students to help them build a spirit of collaboration and joy.
Recommended for ages 8+.
Participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the class, including arrival and departure. Adults must be accompanied by a child they are bringing.
