FallTangle 2025

This event is open to all tangle enthusiasts (some prior Zentangle experience required as some of the classes in this particular event are intermediate level and above).

Get an all-day pass for $43.00 (plus eventbrite fees). You provide your own supplies - scroll all the way down below for supply list).

All tickets include access to the videos of the classes for 6 months. Please allow approximately 48 hours after the event to receive the links to the videos. No video sales after the event.

Ticket holders will be invited to join a private Facebook group.

This online event requires the use of Zoom and a reliable internet connection. The event Zoom link will be sent out the week of the event, and there are no refunds after that.

9:45 - Zoom Opens

10:00 – Opening Remarks

10:05 – Lesson 1 – Lauri Shaw, CZT

• Tan Zendala or tan paper cut to 4.5” circle
• Black 05 micron
• Brown 01 micron (optional)
• Pencil for drawing and shading
• Tortillion
• White gel pen
• Gelly Roll 700 clear sparkle pen
• Dark blue alcohol marker (or you can use any medium to you like, in dark blue)
• Gold Sparkle Pop (or any gold metallic pen)
• Prismacolors in red, orange, yellow or white (I’ll be using Crimson red 924, Orange 918, Canary yellow 916) – or any brand of colored pencils, chalk pencils, pastels, etc.
• White chalk pencil or white colored pencil
• Eraser

12:00 – Break

1:00 – Lesson 2 – Mary Rose Feldman, CZT

• Black Micron 03, 05, 08 (or your favorite fine liners)
• Graphite pencil
• Tortillon or paper stump
• 5xPhive tile – or 5"x5" paper
• 3.5" circle template
• Colored pencils, red/yellow/oranges and shades of brown/black (Polychromos pencils, swatch sheet will be provided)
• Watercolor pencils, brownish colors (Faber Castell, see swatch sheet)
• Colorless blender pencil or similar
• Waterbrush
• Paper towels

3:00 – Break

3:30 - Lesson 3 – Sheila Grube, CZT

• Renaissance Zendala (4.5” tan circle)
• Brown Micron 03 #117 (any color fine liner of your choice will be perfect)
• Pencil for string
• Blackwing Matte pencil – or your favorite graphite pencil
• CarbOthello chalk pencils: 585, 625, 620, 215 and 100 (these are a dark green, dark brown, rusty/orangey brown, golden yellow and white, and can be in any medium you enjoy. Or don’t use color at all and bring your graphite and white charcoal for a bit of shading and highlights)
• Tortillion for each color + graphite (or a piece of scrap paper or sandpaper to clean one off in between each color)
• Clear Stardust Gelly Roll #700 (or gold…think fall sparkle!)
• Stylus (this is optional, no need to purchase!)

5:30 – Break

6:30 – Lesson 4 – Angie Gittles, CZT

• White Zendala
• Black Micron PN or 05
• Black Micron 01 or your favorite fine liner
• 10-Section Circle Template (will be provided before event)
• 2" circle template/stencil
• Yellow and Blue Pastel Chalk Pencils (and matching tortillons) OR colored pencils OR watercolor OR whatever you want to add color with.
• White charcoal OR white pastel chalk pencil and tortillon
• Graphite pencil and tortillon
• Optional: silver glitter pen and/or clear glitter pen
• Eraser (just in case)
• Ruler
• White Gelly Roll 10
• Black Micron 01 or your favorite fine liner
• 10-Section Circle Template (will be provided before event)

8:30 (ish) – Closing remarks

ALSO NOTE: The Zoom link will be sent out to ticket holders a couple of days before the event and posted in the private Facebook group. There are no refunds once the Zoom link and other class hand-outs (if pertinent) have been provided.
