In this zine workshop, participants will create their own mini-zine with the theme of Falling Forward - as the seasons shift and the weather gets cooler, we’ll reflect on what we want to bring with us from the warm summer months into the colder seasons, and use the art of zinemaking to bring intentionality into the seasonal change. Let’s make sure the autumn/winter ahead is as warm, comfy, cozy, & friendship-filled as possible 🧡 Participants may also choose to participate in an optional zine trade once their zines are created after the event! All skill levels are welcome. 🧑🎨
All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring some printed images you’d like to include, or your favourite art supplies. You’re also more than welcome to use this space to work on existing zine projects, get feedback on your work, or ask questions about the logistics of zine creation like printing, layouts, and digital design tools. And of course, enjoy warm and cozy treats from the cafe!
Date and time: October 25, 2025, 2pm - 4pm
Cost: PWYC (suggested donation $15-20)
