Fall Tour - FoxBrits / MG3 / MadBrits

The Madison British Car Group (MBCG) has most of the plans in place for this year’s Fall Tour. We will be going to the Wausau area and visiting one of the largest auto museums in the country, the Motorama Auto Museum, in Aniwa, Wisconsin. We are also planning scenic drives and interesting stops and great restaurants.

Dear Fellow British Car Enthusiasts

Are you ready for a great getaway! We have completed plans for the 2025 Fall Color Tour. This

tour combines different British car groups from around Wisconsin for a 3 day/2 night getaway.

We will be driving beautiful roads, visiting a metal sculpture garden, spending hours at a car

museum, and enjoying spectacular views at the 3rd highest peak in Wisconsin. We hope you can

join us.

Because there are multiple clubs coming from different parts of the state, we put together a few

meeting places to make it more convenient. We encourage you to meet at Shirley’s if possible, as

the roads on Friday morning are spectacular. But we realize you are coming from a distance, so

choose one of the following convenient places. :

9:45 Shirley Smith’s, 4502 Golf Drive, Windsor (leave at 10)

10:30 Ferry X-ing Bar & Grill, 306 Main St, Merrimac (leave at 10:40)

Noon Pine Cove Bar and Grill, W5151 38 th St, New Lisbon (leave at 1:30)

On Friday, we will drive beautiful roads from Windsor to Rothschild/Wausau, stopping for lunch

on the shores of Castle Rock Lake. We will also visit a metal sculpture garden, Juristic Park,

outside of Marshfield. Finally, on Friday evening we have reservations for Friday fish fry within

walking distance of the hotel.

On Saturday, we will explore all the cars at the Motorama Auto Museum, which showcases over

500 cars. The Madison club is providing a lunch on-site. You will be responsible for your own

drinks. There is a bar at the Museum where you can purchase drinks. From there, we will visit

the Dells of Eau Claire and then Rib Mountain, which is the 2 nd highest peak in Wisconsin, with

beautiful views overlooking the entire area. Finally, we will dine at the renowned Tine & Cellar

restaurant.

We will provide each car with a copy of the route and the phone number of the tour leader in

case you need to stop for any reason or have car trouble.

What we need from you:

1. Make your hotel reservation by Wednesday, September 3, to get in on the club rates. You

will reserve your room for October 3 and October 4. Mention the MBCG club if you are

not following the link.

2. RSVP to your club president by Saturday, September 27, so we can firm up counts for the

lunch and dinner reservations. Let us know where you will join the group.

3. Bring your Wisconsin State Park Pass to use at Rib Mountain State Park. If you do not

have one, you can purchase a day pass for $3 (seniors) or $5 (regular)

4. Bring beverages for Saturday lunch.

5. Please have a full tank of gas.
