Overview

This gothic tale of scientific ambition run amok tells a fast-paced story featuring a company SPS theater students. Come join us!

Frankenstein is a modern adaptation of Mary Shelley’s gothic novel. As Victor Frankenstein pushes further into scientific knowledge and ability, he unlocks the secret of animating life out of dead tissue, and creates a monster cursed with loneliness and motivated by revenge who wreaks devastating consequences on everyone Victor cares about. An ensemble cast of 20 students will join technical theater students in telling this story of academic ambition, hubris, and the responsibility we bear for the things we create.
