Leader: Jeff Adams
About the Outing Leader: Jeff is an avid outdoor enthusiast & naturalist who’s been enjoying the natural world for 50 years. He’s a member of the Friends of the Fells, The Trustees, Mass Audubon, Sudbury Valley Trustees, Acton Conservation Trust, Arlington Land Trust, Essex Greenbelt, Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, Lincoln Land Conservation Trust/Rural Land Foundation, The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Tufts University, Newton Conservators and The Massachusetts Archaeological Society, Inc.
About the Outing: Please join Jeff for a guided nature walk. We’ll focus on Plant ID looking at native species along with a few non-natives. We’ll include select natural history with some lore thrown in too. And we’ll use helpful identifiers such as galls, leaf shapes, flowers, fruits and diagnostic characteristics that enable us to immediately identify the plant.
