Join us for a fun hands on look at extending your growing season, planting for the cold season and much more. We'll discuss everything from overwintering garlic, extending the life of crops that can't handle the cold, brassicas like broccoli and cauliflower, cover cropping and much more. Pest prevention, frost protection and cleaning the garden space will also be discussed. Participants can fill a small container and take it home to try their hand at growing a cool season crop. We'll venture into the demonstration garden to look at native plants and show things like cover cloth systems etc.
